Maples Rep Performance Campers present:  IMAGINE A DRAGON – 2 performances on Saturday, June 21st at 10am and 2pm

By Kathryn Funkhouser and Denver Casado

The dragon is back in town! Well… not really. That’s the story a ragtag band of innkeepers makes up, desperate to draw questing heroes to the struggling Dancing Dragon Inn. Soon the inn is full of unexpected guests, from an army of princesses out to prove their bravery, to a group of overwhelmed heroes trying to hold onto their fame. But what happens if they all discover the innkeepers’ dragon story is made up? Could there be more than one way to save the day?

Maples Rep Teen Campers present:  THE MOST VIEWED LEAST WATCHED TALK SHOW IN HISTORY – 2 performances on Saturday, July 12th at 10am and 6pm

By Ken Preuss

Public-access talk show hosts Brighton and Avery don’t have very good guests.  Or many regular viewers (with the exception of Brighton’s grandpa, who can’t figure out how to change the channel).  But the young broadcasters are about to find out that a little serendipity goes a long way when it comes to achieving viral status. Just as the hosts are about to call it a wrap on another unremarkable show, a special, last-minute guest provides a future perspective that has Brighton and Avery reconsidering everything and wondering if their show might truly wind up being the most viewed someday, even if it is the least watched talk show in history.

Maples Rep TYA presents: A. WOLF’S TAIL – Performances run June 25th – July 16th on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:00am

By Jack Smith

Looking back on his younger days, A. Wolfe tells the story of his life. Questions about who is good and who is bad come up soon and his encounter with three pigs, a magical apple tree and a silly girl in a red hood all play a part – but not the part you might think. This imaginative play, by Maples Rep resident costume designer Jack Smith, is full of surprises.

Maples Rep TYA presents: BEDTIME STORIES (AS TOLD BY OUR DAD – WHO MESSED THEM UP) – Performances run July 26th – August 6th on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:00am

By Ed Monk

It’s Dad’s turn to tell his three rambunctious kids their bedtime stories, but when he gets fuzzy on the details, the classics get creative: a prince with a snoring problem spices up The Princess and The Pea, The Boy Who Cried Wolf cries dinosaur instead, and Rumpelstiltskin helps turn all that pesky gold into straw. You may think you know your fairy tales, but not the way Dad tells them.
