The Drowsy Chaperone

by Lisa Lambert & Greg Morrison

When an avid theatre buff places an old record on his phonograph, his favorite 1928 Broadway show comes to life in his living room. A loving satire of old musicals, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE hilariously pulls one show-stopping production number after another out of – the refrigerator. A parade of zany characters spills onto the stage: the lovable movie star, and her besotted bridegroom, a bumbling best man, a desperate movie producer, ditsy hostess, wise-cracking butler, gangsters in disguise, a Latin Lothario, and an inebriated chaperone will all sing and dance their way into your heart.
